Early childhood professional development training

I would be honored to lead members of your staff in learning the basics of the Parent Talk System (PTS). The PTS is based on the premise that as teachers and caregivers your choice of words and your communication style are critical to the self-esteem, emotional health and personal empowerment of the children you interact with daily. Your staff will be empowered to immediately and effectively apply their new skills in their daily work with children and families.

"Group Staff Development " A series of three in-person workshops, two hours each, including time to practice and role play. 6 Total Clock Hours I lead your staff in learning the 3 highly effective discipline strategies of the Parent Talk System. Your staff will learn and practice language patterns that cause children in your care to grow in self- confidence and self-esteem. The skills learned collectively work to empower children to make appropriate choices, modify inappropriate behavior and increase children's self-responsibility. Children grow in character and personal emotional health. Additional observations and de-briefing sessions may be added as needed, for a minimal additional fee.

Master the art of heading-off and diffusing power struggles using 'Shared Control' and the power of choice! Discover the highly effective alternative to, “Don’t…”! Learn and practice the most effective ‘praise statements’ that build children’s confidence and foster long-lasting self-esteem. Acquire valuable skills of respectful communication and guidance and that project confident leadership.
