Working with families and children has been my dream ever since I was in college. I'm so grateful that I can say that I have spent all of the years since then 'Living My Dream'! I feel called, honored and blessed to come alongside parents and offer not only encouragement and support, but powerful and extremely effective communication tools that can change your entire family!
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and was certified as a Parent Talk System Facilitator by Master Educator and Author, Chick Moorman in 2008. After teaching college students, parents and preschoolers for 27 wonderful years at Long Beach City College in Long Beach, California, I branched out on my own and have been leading Parent Talk Classes to adults as well as Parent Participation Classes for the last 15 years.
With our three grown sons and their families all living in the East and Midwest we decided to leave Southern California to be closer to them and our grandchildren. We now call O'Fallon, Missouri home- just west of St. Louis. We are delighted to have closer contact with our sons and their families!
I am married to Rick, my very supportive and understanding husband of 43 years and together we have raised 3 delightful, caring and responsible sons. We are thankful to God that they are each established in their careers and living positive and satisfying lives. We are grandparents to two darling and lovable boys and two sweet baby girls who all bring us much joy!
